From real-time communication
to real-time intelligence.
Founded in 2015 by Shengwang and the RTE Developer Community, the conference began as a place for developers to exchange ideas about real-time communication. Over eleven editions, it grew into a meeting point for the wider audio, video and real-time engagement industry.
As the technology evolved from RTC infrastructure into richer RTE experiences, the community grew with it. In 2025, the conversation shifted from connecting people to enabling natural dialogue with AI.
In 2026, the event becomes iRTE: the Real-Time Intelligence Conference. This new chapter focuses on AI that can interact in the moment—and the changes it is bringing to social experiences, education, smart hardware and beyond.
